Tithing is an important part of church life. The church depends on the regular tithes and gifts of its members to support the ministry and life of the church. Traditionally our church does an annual Stewardship campaign in the fall to ask our members to prayerfully consider how much they will pledge to tithe for the new year. Members are given a pledge card that will ask the amount of money and the payment frequency of your specific tithe for the year, and this information is kept confidential. The completed pledge cards help the church treasurer know how much income to expect and allows the ruling Elders to create a budget that will pay all expenses and provide the spending budget for all the church ministries that we maintain and support.
Gifts can be the giving of monetary funds for something specific within the church, or it can be the giving of talents and time as a volunteer. We all have different talents and strengths and there are many ways to get involved and serve as a volunteer.
Membership is not required to worship, pray, or serve with us but it can be obtained a few different ways. If interested please contact us in person or by calling or emailing the church office.
